Ron Perlman Dresses as Hellboy For Make-A-Wish

Hollywood Reporter

Ron Perlman recently helped out the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Zachary told Make-A-Wish he wanted to meet his hero…and Perlman obliged.

Perlman was committing a lot. The makeup was the full, detailed cinematic outfit that he wore for two movies. It takes four hours for him to get into makeup, and it weighs thirty pounds, complete with a robotic hand. It generally requires Perlman to arrive as early as three in the morning on set.

Perlman was contacted through the make-up company, Spectral Motion, that developed the Hellboy design. Perlman was happy to get back into character to bring Zachary’s dream to life. Zachary is currently fighting leukemia and we wish him good luck.
