David Hasselhoff is here to fill that Hoff-sized hole in your heart that can only be filled with the glorious sound of his music.

The Hoff has emerged back on the scene with a new song called "True Survivor," which is being used to promote an upcoming film called Kung Fury.

The video that accompanies the song is, well, different. It borrows heavily from the '80s with its grainy look and video game feel. There's also a little matter of Hitler and swastikas showing up in it, which is probably not the best way to market your music, although with his rabid and well-known German fanbase, the Hoff may be the one artist who can pull it off.

There actually is a reason for Hitler to pop up in the video. A description of Kung Fury on IMDB says:

During an unfortunate series of events a friend of Kung Fury is assassinated by the most dangerous kung fu master criminal of all time; Adolf Hitler, a.k.a Kung Führer. Kung Fury decides to travel back in time, to Nazi Germany, in order to kill Hitler and end the Nazi empire once and for all.

Sounds like a sure-fire Oscar contender, right?
