Real-Life Ron Swanson from ‘Parks and Recreation’ Found in Louisiana

During this week’s episode of ‘Parks and Recreation,’ some viewers were treated to a commercial for a local furniture restoration store with a mustachioed man who looked suspiciously like Ron Swanson. No need to get your eyes checked. You weren’t seeing double.

Hot 107.9 noticed that Swanson bears a striking resemblance to a local woodworker. Parker Wood Works is a business based in Lafayette, Louisiana, and if the screenshots from this commercial are to be believed, then Swanson himself works there restoring all manner of wood furniture. We’d bet our entire supply of meat and eggs that this is the same man.

Okay, okay, you got us. The man in this commercial obviously isn’t Swanson, but woodworking is one of the character’s hobbies. You’ve got to admit, the similarities between the two are pretty striking. Check out more photos below.
