Russian Geniuses Build Real Flying ‘Back to the Future’ DeLorean
While we are years away from hovering over traffic at 88 miles per hour, there's no harm in trying to bring to life one of the greatest creations in movie magic: the flying DeLorean car from 'Back to the Future.' That's exactly what a bunch of hobbyists in icy Russia did.
It may just be a model, but it's good enough for our inner 'Doc' to go "Great Scott!" If they could build this now, imagine the prospect of making a bigger one next. Built using off-the-shelf RC parts, and controlled using a toy remote control, these enterprising geeks have proven it's not that hard to go "back to the future." Now if only they could add jet propulsion to the replica hoverboard from 'Back to the Future II.'
