Phone Pinching Is the Trendiest Way to Destroy Your Smartphone

This could be the costliest fad to hit the internet in some time.
Extreme phone pinching is a trend where people hold their phones between their thumb and forefinger over something that will destroy it if dropped, like, say a body of water, a toilet or the Grand Canyon.
Phone pinching first came into the public eye back in July, courtesy of the above video. It’s really taken off, though, in the last few weeks, with teens getting in on the act.
While the people who buy the phones are no doubt cringing at the thought of destroying them for essentially no good reason, the ones who partake must get a rush knowing doing this can expedite when they’ll get the iPhone 6s.
Take a look below at some phone pinching below and decide for yourself whether it’s genius or just plain juvenile.
