Oprah Winfrey and 50 Cent (Curtis Jackson) have a history of not getting along. Oprah has long been critical of the misogyny in rap lyrics and Jackson has taken this personally, lashing out at the TV queen on multiple occasions.

But perhaps his most famous insult came when he made a big deal over naming his dog "Oprah."

Jackson and Oprah more or less buried the hatchet during an episode of 'Oprah's Next Chapter' that aired Sunday night. But Oprah wasn't going to let the rapper get away without explaining why he named his miniature schnauzer after her.

"That was not a compliment," Oprah told Jackson, after joking that she took it as one.

"At the time, I was just looking at the situation, and I saw I was developing negative feelings for someone who doesn't even know me...and I gave it to the dog," Jackson explained. He also added that he has a cat named Gayle, which is presumably named after Oprah's BFF Gayle King.

We're not so sure sharing your name with a dog is an insult, even if Fiddy initially meant it to be one. After all dogs are a lot better than many of the people we know.
