President Barack Obama is already a man of many talents, and he showed us a new one Thursday night: singing.
While addressing a crowd of about 1,400 supporters during a fundraiser at the historic Apollo Theater in Harlem, the Commander-in-Chief mentioned soul legend Rev. Al Green was in the crowd. And then, in homage, the President sang the first line of Green’s iconic song ‘Let’s Stay Together.’
The crowd cheered, but Obama was quick to say, “Don’t worry Rev, I cannot sing like you, but I just wanted to show my appreciation.”
Will ‘Let’s Stay Together’ become Obama’s reelection anthem? Watch Obama’s soulful rendition below.
