Sea Otter Nellie Can Stack Cups — and Talk!

When we last checked in with Nellie the Sea Otter, she was diligently stacking cups. After watching her unusual skill we declared that she would be the perfect pet because she was adorable and could help out around the kitchen. But that's not all Nellie can do. It turns out the precocious sea mammal can also talk.

Granted she doesn't speak English. However, unlike with "cat" or "dog," "sea otter" lingo sounds like a language that we could one day understand.

But would you want to understand what your pet has to say? We're not so sure. In fact, we suspect  any harmonious relationship between man and beast is based on a mutual inability to comprehend what the other is really thinking.
