Then: On the '90s cult-hit TV show ‘My So-Called Life, Devon Gummersall played Brain Krakow, the bookish boy-next-door who had a huge, mostly unrequited crush on Angela (Claire Danes). Gummersall already had a bunch of TV credits under his belt before the show, and when it was cancelled after just one season he went on to roles on 'Relativity' and 'Felicity.'

Now: Gummersall continues to pop up on TV shows like 'The Gates' and 'Drop Dead Diva,' and had a memorable turn as a lesbian-identified man on 'The L Word.' The 33-year-old recently wrote and directed the yet-to-be-released feature film 'Low Fidelity.'
