The amazing video editing talent out there strikes gold once again. The Robin Williams classic 'Mrs. Doubtfire' will always be known as one of the best heartwarming comedies of the 1990s. But Vimeo user Peter Javidpour saw a dark side to Williams' masked nanny and made a recut trailer showing us how life-threatening things could have gotten with the 60-year-old British nanny in the house.

For those of you who are too young or have never watched 'Mrs. Doubtfire', Williams' character loses custody over his three children to his ex-wife (played by Sally Field). Devastated and in a desperate attempt to win his children's affection back, he takes the drastic step of applying prosthetic make-up to turn into housekeeper Mrs. Euphegenia Doubtfire, so he could apply for the position of his ex-wife's housekeeper. Hilarity obviously ensues before the big emotional reveal at the end.

But this recut video flips over the original plot and makes Mrs. Doubtfire look far more nefarious, which when you look at her now kinda makes sense. It's amazing how editing and a change of music can completely change the tone of a film. Find all the hallmarks of a horror/thriller in this trailer for 'Mrs. Doubtfire' below.
