We all know that monkeys are amazing acrobats, but sometimes it takes a video like this to really drive the point home. Check out an ape at the Memphis zoo with some serious  ninja skills.

According to the YouTube user who's featured in the video, the monkey started going crazy once he spotted him. The reason for this, he was told by zoo employees, is that the ape was an alpha male, and thus felt threatened by him because he was tall.

Well, thank goodness for safety glass, right? Although the expertly choreographic "attack" still certainly seemed to upset a youngster in the video.

This wouldn't be the first time only a thin piece of glass supported man and beast at the zoo. Check out out what happens when kids get up close and personal with zoo animals. And remember not to tap the glass.
