When actor Brian Presley saw that he would be seated to next to Melissa Stetten on his flight from Los Angeles to New York on June 6th, he probably thought he hit the jackpot. Stetten works as a model, meaning that’s she’s both pleasant to look at and unlikely to impede upon his armrests with her girth.

But Stetten ended up being the worst seatmate Presley could have ever imagined. That’s because the 28- year-old began to live tweet to her (then) 13,000 followers Presley’s awkward advances on her.

Since Presley is married, and a devout Christian, Stetten’s descriptions of his attempts to chat her up paint him in a particularly bad light. Check some of the Tweets she sent out.

According to Presley, Stetten completely exaggerated all aspects of their encounter. Here is how he explained what went down on his Facebook page.

I love that I took a red eye flight to NY, had a 10 minute friendly conversation with the person sitting next to me, had some food, and went to sleep! I learned today this person has been tweeting about me drinking beer in the airplane bathroom, and trying to commit adultery with her on the airplane …  none of what this person said happened is true! I guess in today’s age you have to be careful who you say hello too.”

So who do you believe? Presley certainly wouldn’t be the first married guy to hit on an attractive woman who was seated next to him on a plane. As for Stetten, she has her own credibility problems. Earlier this year she caused a stir on Twitter by claiming she won the $462 million Powerball, but the picture she attached of the winning numbers proved to PhotoShopped.

Either way, neither Stetten or Presley come out of the incident looking very good.
