‘MasterChef’ Hopeful Wins Competition Because Her Dad Is Strong
Oh, the things parents do to help their kids.
A woman competing on Brazil's 'MasterChef' was, to put it in culinary terms, in a bit of a pickle when she couldn't open a jar whose contents she needed to be, well, a master chef.
Time was of the essence and nothing seemed to work, but the woman had an ace up her sleeve: her dad was in the audience. She tossed the jar to him and he promptly got it open, eliciting applause from other people on hand.
Dad's actions were minor by any measure: it turns out the woman wound up winning the competition.
