Think you've seen all that modern medicine has to offer? Think again. 'Today' recently profiled 24-year-old Cary Ramey, an Alabama resident who had a rare toe-to-thumb transplant after losing part of his hand in a horrific car accident. We give this story two toes up!

Ramey admitted that having a toe on his hand is "a little weird." But, he said, the highly unusual operation allowed him to continue with an active lifestyle. So does he get a mani or a pedi on his new thumb?
