Stop us if you've heard this one before. A man enters the airport, puts his bag down, opens up a beer, and takes a nap. The man wakes up and has cleared airport security...but not the way you'd think.

An unidentified 36-year-old man at Rome's Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport decided Thursday to take a nap on a conveyor behind an empty counter. The belt began to move sending him down it and into the x-ray machines, where he was scanned.

It was only when his scanned body appeared on a security monitor did officials realize what had happened. Apparently, he is not the first to undergo a "full body scan" at the airport, as Officials told British newspaper The Telegraph that this sort of thing occurs roughly once a year. The man was taken to a hospital over concerns of x-ray overexposure before being booked on charges of causing alarm. No news on whether he was allowed to keep the photograph as a souvenir.
