This is one of the more unusual lawsuits you're going to come across.

A woman is suing a Walgreens in Orlando, claiming her 69-year-old husband died from emotional distress brought on after the store forced him to clean the bathroom after he used it in 2012.

Maria Elizarraras says her husband, Fernando, was not allowed to leave the store, where he had shopped before, after using the restroom, with employees telling him, “You left a mess, (expletive) all over the bathroom."

Fernando was ordered to clean the bathroom and left after 20 minutes. Maria's lawsuit says the matter left her husband "humiliated, disgraced and injured in his feelings, emotionally and mentally" and "resulted in the death of Fernando."

It's unclear how long after the incident Fernando passed away and there is no death certificate in the state to provide more information.

It's also unclear how much Maria is seeking in her suit, although court documents specify there is a $500,000 settlement offer.
