There are many talented artists out there, working in many mediums. Some take years to put together a life-like depiction of their subject.

Some are a bit quicker.

This display of skill, shot in Poland, shows a glass worker plying his trade. He starts with literally nothing but a globe of molten glass. As he spins it, he adds details and other touches.

He has to move quickly because as the glass cools, it hardens quickly and makes it impossible to sculpt without reheating it... and reheating it means the glass will be of lesser quality, or possibly impossible to sculpt.

So making art with glass requires both concision and forethought. And this is a spectacular display of both.
