A man in Portland, Oregon got so mad while shopping at Toys ‘R Us that he allegedly started attacking fellow customers with a lightsaber.

The wannabe Luke Skywalker, David Canterbury, allegedly let loose with the lightsaber and assaulted three other customers.

Officers arrived and tried to calm the man down but he refused to adhere to police’s request. That’s when the old Taser came into the equation. Somehow, Canterbury was able to break free from the device’s wires with the lightsaber (and possibly also the Force).

Officers cited the man for theft, resisting arrest, interfering with a police officer and assault. They also placed him in a hospital for a mental evaluation. (It’s safe to say his mind was in a galaxy far, far away.)
