Llamas are inherently funny animals. Seriously, look at one and try not to crack a smile. So it's nice to see they've got a bit of a sense of humor themselves, as this video proves.

The "laughter", of course, is something else. When llamas hear a sound that's foreign or otherwise confusing to them, they alert the herd, just in case. It just so happens that their herd-alert noise sounds like laughter.

Well, at least that's the theory. Some llama owners aren't quite so sure. Either way, it's a great video, and it reminds us that even animals find each other funny. And, hey, it beats spitting.
