Parents can go a little overboard with taking photos of their kids sometimes. But this parent took it one step further and shot video of his daughter Lotte once a week from the time she was a newborn baby until she was 12-years-old and created a moving short movie of her life.

Frans Hofmeester has pulled out his video camera to capture the subtle changes in his adorable daughter Lotte every week of her life. Finally, after 12 years of work, he took a moment to see what he had come up with so far.

It’s amazing to see how much Lotte changes and yet, how much she remains herself throughout the years. And, for most parents, it probably matches the feeling of how fast their little ones grow up.
