Given the success of indie artist Lana Del Rey's song 'Video Games,' a parody involving 'Super Mario Bros.' characters was probably inevitable. London-based comedian Jenny Bede dresses like Princess Peach and turns Rey's single into a story of failed love where she wrongly picked Luigi instead of Mario.

Costumes and silly lyrical content notwithstanding, Bede accurately captures the somber tone of Del Rey's original "Hollywood sad core" song by using mournful piano and overwrought violins. She also does a fantastic job of mimicking Del Rey's pouty look with more lip makeup than you could possibly imagine.

Call us crazy, but this may be our favorite 'Video Games' parody so far. Heck, it might even be better than the original. What do you think?
