Many were shocked and excited to hear that Lana Del Rey -- the singer with a tremendous internet following, but no actual album to hock -- was the musical guest for 'Saturday Night Live.' You know who wasn't, though? Juliette Lewis and tons of other people on Twitter.

After watching Del Rey perform "Video Games" and "Blue Jeans," Lewis tweeted,

Wow watching this 'singer' on SNL is like watching a 12 year old in their bedroom when they're pretending to sing and perform. #signofourtimes

It looks like she's not the only one with this opinion. Perez Hilton, who never really bought the Del Rey hype to begin with, wrote:

Just watched SNL. Not only was @LanaDelRey vocally WAY off, but watching her utter lack of stage presence was cringe-worthy

Regardless, Del Rey probably won't be phased by her harsh critics. "It's not a fluke decision," she told MTV News last week. "I don't think they've ever had anyone perform who didn't even have a record out, so I do appreciate it... I'm a good musician. And I may not have a record out now, but I have been singing for a very long time... everyone over there knows that."

So, what do you think? Did the star's performances go above and beyond your expectations? Or, like Eliza Dushku, were you left thinking, "Who.....is.....this wack-a-doodle chick performing on #SNL..? Whaaaa?"
