Lady Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’ Covered By Broad Cross Section of Chinese People

In the video below, Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance' is covered in Mandarin Chinese by a group called the Twelve Girls Band, who are being backed by a choir of middle-aged folks and senior citizens. Not exactly what Mother Monster originally had in mind for the song.

To add to the strangeness, the older singers begin their performance in a World Fair-style diorama of a house, before walking down the display stairs and joining the Girls on the main part of the stage.

Bottom line: when your songs are being sung by a bunch of random foreigners in their native tongue as part of some bizarre TV variety stage show, you know you've really made it. Congrats, Lady Gaga.
