Starving, Abandoned Kittens Found in Suitcase in Parking Lot

How could someone do this?

Police in Brooklyn, N.Y. recently seized a suitcase with seven kittens inside that had been tossed over a fence and left in the parking lot of an apartment complex. A woman who lived there found the bag, which contained the kittens, believed to only be a few days old.

Surveillance video captured someone tossing the case over the fence. One of the cats died, while the others were starving.

Police posted photos of the kittens on Twitter in the hopes someone could help them figure out what happened.

It’s unclear what will happen to the animals, who are currently being looked after at a local chapter of the ASPCA. Knowing this story, though, you’d have to think someone willstep forward to adopt them.
