Finally, the Kiss Hello Kitty Toilet Paper No One Asked For
The rockers in Kiss are famous for shamelessly attaching their name to all kinds of wacky merchandise. (Remember the Kiss Casket?) But the band may have outdone themselves this time with co-branded Kiss/Hello Kitty toilet paper. As our friends at Ultimate Classic Rock discovered, this is unfortunately a real thing.
It's anybody's guess why the '70s rock gods and the shiny, happy Japanese franchise came together on fluffy rolls of bathroom tissue. But given that Hello Kitty is already marketed everywhere and that Kiss have slapped their name on everything from wine to comic books, such a thing was probably inevitable.
Fans of the band and the cute-sy Japanese mascot will probably love this. But, for the rest of us, having Gene Simmons on our bathroom tissue could be a bit, um, unsettling. Any takers?
