The new Muppets film doesn't just revive a long lost tradition of family friendly films. It also revives the long lost art of puppet and person duets, as evidenced by Kermit the Frog's sweet duet with the new film's composer (and Flight of the Conchords member) Bret McKenzie.

Kermit and Bret, who is one half of the genius comedy music duo that is 'Flight of the Conchords,' sat down with The New York Times Magazine to pound out a duet of the film's opening theme, 'Life's a Happy Song.'

The two actually have a very warm and funny rapport for a renowned singer and composer and an inanimate felt puppet. If the movie is half as hilarious and peppy as this impromptu performance, the world should be in for a great ride.
