As the Presidential campaign heads into the home stretch, expect more and more folks to pull an Alec Baldwin and declare they will be exiting the country if their favored candidate is not victorious.

While people (Baldwin included) rarely ever follow through with these threats, this year JetBlue is making it a bit easier for folks to decamp to foreign soil if their guy suffers electoral defeat.

In fact, the airline is offering a free ticket out of the country. The catch is you have to log onto JetBlue's Electoral Projecton website and declare who you want to win before election day. Then, after November 6th, JetBlue will give 1,006 supporters of the losing candidate and their chosen companion gratis tickets to a foreign destination.

We've all heard it said before: if my candidate does not win, I’m leaving the country,” JetBlue marketing executive Marty St. George said in a statement. “Fun is one of our five founding values, and in this spirit we decided to give people a chance to recover from the political noise and follow through on their claim to skip town if their candidate comes up short.'

Since most of JetBlue's international flights go to the Caribbean, it should be a sun-filled and relaxing self-imposed exile.
