Hyundai chose the cheetah to feature in its Super Bowl commercial for 2012, which initially seemed unusual being that a car's "oomph" factor is normally compared to a horse (i.e. it's horsepower). But the fact is that besides Seabiscuit, Secretariat and maybe Mr. Ed, horses are, well, boring. A cheetah will put up much more of a fight when racing against a car.

It turns out, however, that the race was already over before it heated up. The cheetah didn't even stand a chance against the speeding Veloster and was too quickly left in the dust.

Anyone who has ever finished last in a race can sympathize with the animal's desire to maul the closest thing out of frustration. We've all been there.

This leads to a brief cheetah vs. man desert chase, which we're assuming the cheetah won. Since the spot is only 30 seconds we don't get to see if the big cat catches the frightened human.
