Mr. Ed may have been able to talk, but, as far as we're aware, he didn't know art. Justin the horse, however, creates paintings that can sell for big bucks by holding a brush in his muzzle. Yes, these works of art come straight from the horse's mouth.

According to Justin's owner, Adonna Combs, the nine-year-old Friesian first showed signs of talent by using a whip to create shapes in sand. So, she encouraged the horse to use his creativity by providing him with art supplies. And now, he paints nearly every day.

Justin's work will go up for auction this weekend at the Equine Art, Antique and Rare Book Auction in Lexington, Kentucky. All proceeds will go to benefit the American Saddlebred Museum. Some pieces are expected to fetch as much as several hundred dollars each.

What do you think? Would you shell out major dollars to purchase an equine work of art?
