Just about anybody who has driven across our great land has made a point to count all the states that they have visited along the way. The  two hip young ladies in the 'All 50 States' commercial for Honda's CR-V seem to be well on their way to the elusive goal of driving through every state in the union, and have the t-shirts to prove it. But what's the song playing in the background as they make their journey?

The song is called 'Whistle-Clap-Hey' and it comes from the band Lucy & The Cloud Parade. The Danish pop act definitely gets credit for making the title descriptive, since much of what makes the song (and the commercial) catchy and distinctive is the whistling and the clapping.

'Lucy & The Cloud Parade' has been around for a couple years, and their song 'Love Yourself' recieved some attention in America after it was featured on an episode of 'Ugly Betty.'

Both 'Love Yourself' and 'Whistle-Clap-Hey' are featured on their self-titled debut album, which was released on February 14th. On their Facebook page, the band describes their style as ranging from '60s psychedelic pop to spaghetti western. Whatever that means, it certainly makes for good driving music.
