If the Valley High School baseball team in Sacramento, California is as clutch on the field as it is off of it, it may very well win a championship.

After a woman accidentally hit and backed over her teenage daughter, several players on the team ran to the scene and saved the day by lifting the car and pulling the girl to safety.

The team was on a nearby field when they heard some yelling and jumped into action. Valley player Glenmil Biete described the scene:

It took 7 to 10 people. We all ran over, carried the car. Then we had one person pull her out."

The teenage girl was taken to the hospital, but does not have any serious injuries.

The players also say they would like to meet the girl whose life they may have very well saved. Watch a news report on the heroic teens below.
