Heartbroken Boy Sells Kool-Aid to Raise Money for Grandmother’s Funeral

Talk about a sweet gesture.

Eight-year-old Michael Diamond, of Garfield Heights, Ohio has set up a Kool-Aid stand to help raise money to pay for his grandmother’s funeral, which costs $5,000. She passed away earlier this month after battling cancer. Michael had planned to keep his stand going until this past Sunday.

Michael says he thinks about his grandmother and what he would say if he could see her again. He sweetly said, “I would tell her I love her and I hope to see her again.”

At last check, Michael has raised $173. If you’d like to help out, you can send money via the Paypal email address.
