Couple Who Met Playing ‘Halo’ Share Touching First Kiss

The emotional moment when a couple first met in person, after striking up a relationship five years ago in a 'Halo 3' game lobby, has caused an internet sensation.

The couple's passionate embrace in a Texas airport, dubbed, “Our First Meeting After 5 Years Long Distance,” captures a young man running into the arms of his long-term girlfriend and spinning her around in the airport, before they share their long awaited first kiss.

The couple met five years ago in a 'Halo 3' game lobby, became virtual best friends, and began a romantic relationship two years ago. She lives in Texas and he lives in Tennessee, so their relationship mainly depended on Skype, MySpace and Facebook.

They met for the first time in March this year, and again in June and August. Now the long distance couple are now engaged.

The young woman, who goes by the name of Cadynow, explains in the caption of the YouTube video: “After meeting for the first time on a Halo 3 game lobby 5 years ago, we built a relationship as best friends for 3 years through video games, myspace to facebook, then finally to skype. Once we talked "face to face" we hit it off as a couple from then on.”

The video quickly went viral, and had been viewed over 460,000 times by early Tuesday afternoon.

And the couple look set to gain an even bigger audience, as a producer from the soon-to-be-launched Jeff Probst talk show is rumored to have asked if the couple wanted to take their love onto national television. Ain’t that sweet?
