Did You Know You Can Make Google Translate Beatbox?
While Google Translate will sometimes spit out pretty hysterical results, it's generally effective in navigating the internet's tower of babble. But did you know the translation service can also beatbox on demand?
Yes, it's true. All you have to do is set the drop-down tab to translate from German to English, then copy and paste the following characters into the text box:
pv zk bschk pv zk pv bschk zk pv zk bschk pv zk pv bschk zk bschk pv bschk bschk pv kkkkkkkkkk bschk bschk bschk pv zk bschk pv zk pv bschk zk pv zk bschk pv zk pv bschk zk bschk pv bschk bschk pv kkkkkkkkkk bschk bschk bschk pv zk bschk pv zk pv bschk zk pv zk bschk pv zk pv bschk zk bschk pv bschk bschk pv kkkkkkkkkk bschk bschk bschk pv zk bschk pv zk pv bschk zk pv zk bschk pv zk pv bschk zk bschk pv bschk bschk pv kkkkkkkkkk bschk bschk bschk pv zk bschk pv zk pv bschk zk pv zk bschk pv zk pv bschk zk bschk pv bschk bschk pv kkkkkkkkkk bschk bschk bschk
Here's what it should look like.
Pretty neat, huh? Think you can write a better beatbox? Here's what each word loosely translates as.
zk = suspended cymbal
bschk = snare
pv = brush
bk = bass
tk = flam1
vk = roll tap
kt = flam2
kttp = flam tap
krp = hi hat tap
pv = short roll
th = better hi hat
thp, ds = instant rimshot
This trick has actually been around for a couple years, so it's not like it's a tribute to Adam Yauch or anything like that. But it does serve as further proof that Google engineers have a lot of time on their hands.
