Handy ‘Good Sandwich Guide’ Reveals the Secret of Total Bread Coverage

We love tasty sandwiches as much as the next guy, but one thing about making them always drives us crazy — no matter how you overlap the meat, it’s darn near impossible to cover the entire piece of bread. Well, sandwich lovers, rejoice! That eternal problem has finally been solved thanks to this handy image.

While we can’t positively identify the type of cold cut used in this picture (bologna? liverwurst?), we definitely appreciate the technique. By slicing two pieces of meat in half and strategically placing them one on top of the other, this sandwich-maker has created a snack with total bread coverage. Ingenious! It’s so simple. Why didn’t we think of that?

Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’re going to take this new-found knowledge and go create the Dagwood of our dreams.
