Monday night was a big night for Hollywood’s best friends, those cute canines that do all the movie grunt work for none of the glamour and glory. That all changed with the celebration of the first annual Golden Collar Awards.

The Golden Collar Awards were established by Hollywood dog gossip publication 'Dog News Daily' (yes, that's a real thing) to celebrate those actors on all fours that don’t get the recognition they deserve for their contributions to the entertainment industry. The awards went to pups in such categories as Best Dog in a Theatrical Film, Best Dog in a Foreign Film and Best Dog in a Television Series.

There was a gala red carpet event, where there were reportedly no accidents, and a star-studded awards ceremony. The prestigious awards went to some very popular dogs. Dogs that are probably inking better deals for themselves right now. See who won below.
