German Singer Swallows Microphone In Rather Unfortunate Incident

When this video begins German singer "Siggi"  is performing an Eduard Khil-like song at a private party of some sorts.

Siggi really has the crowd into it and they call out his name as they dance with great enthusiasm. But one man swings his lady with a bit too much panache and she barrels into Siggi's microphone stand. What happens next is unusual and disturbing, but not without humor.

Siggi has eaten the mic! And instead of lyrics coming from the speakers, the stunned crowd hears sounds of Siggi choking on the oblong object.

The video cuts off before we see what becomes of Siggi. Were they able to pull the microphone out of his stomach using its chord? Was he hospitalized? These are questions that need answers. We're pulling for you, Siggi!
