'Star Trek' alum and overall delight George Takei has been waging a campaign to bring his musical 'Allegiance,' which is about the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II, to Broadway. As it stands, the show will open September 16th at the Old Globe theater in San Diego. Thanks to the almost $160,000 Takei has raised from investors, the dream of eventually taking the show to the Big Apple is very much alive. So to celebrate, Takei rewarded the entire internet by performing his "Happy Dance."

Sulu's pretty spry for a 74-year old, isn't he? He also joins the legions of dancers of all ages who can't resist getting down to LMFAO's 'Sexy and I Know It.'

However, there was one person who wasn't so thrilled with Takei's performance. That would be his husband Brad Altman. At the beginning of the video Takei says he's doing the dance with Altman's "permission." But when we get a glimpse of Altman at the end of the video he is looking pretty glum. Perhaps the happy dance isn't quite as charming when you see it 24/7.
