‘Game of Thrones’ Season Two Trailer Offers Deception, War and Dragons

Gane of thrones Season 2
HBO

Last month the teaser for the second season for ‘Game of Thrones,’ the HBO drama based on the George R. R. Martin’s series of fantasy books, hit the internet. Now fans can watch a full length trailer, which was just released on HBO’s Go website.

“The cold winter’s rising, storms come and go the big fish eat the little fish. Sometimes the ones with the most power have the least grace,” says the narrator as the trailer opens. Next comes a series of scenes of violence and intrigue that are in keeping with season one, and with Martin’s fantasy world in general.

So what did we learn from the trailer? Well, for one thing dragons will play an important role in season two. And so will Stannis, the brother of the late King Robert, who has declared himself heir to the Iron Throne and is prepared to do what is neccesary to take it.

Season 2 begins on April 1st. Are you excited yet?
