The 1980s gave us many things. (Reaganomics, "Where's the Beef?," Duran Duran, embarassing hairdos, to name a few.) Yet for those of us who spent endless quarters in arcades, the decade was first and foremost about video games.

These electronic distractions introduced us to such 8-bit A-listers as Pac-Man, Donkey Kong and the Super Mario. Bros, games that seem as fresh today as they did during the Cold War. Yet for every Burgertime there seems to be a hundred Mr. Do's.

Thanks to the wonders of emulation and classic game compilations for current home consoles, these titles don't have to be lost to the mists of time any longer. So we decided to team up with our pals at Arcade Sushi to honor games who never got their turn in the spotlight the first time around. Scrounge up some change and get ready for a nostalgic trip back in time with this list of 10 forgotten video games from the 1980s.
