Here's a fish tale that is completely true.

Dino Ferrari may sound like the name of a race car driver, but he's actually an Italian fisherman who recently caught a 280-pound wels catfish in the country's Po River. The giant creature also measured more than eight-and-a-half-feet long.

The current world record for wels catfish is more than 300 pounds, but Ferrari's haul may still land him in the record books for biggest wels catfish caught with a rod and reel.

Take a look at Ferrari and his catch of the day year.
