Without a doubt, the coolest part of the hit video game 'Portal' is the portal gun, a device which allows players to create wormholes in three-dimensional space. This visually-stunning fan video by Jason Craft attempts to show how the awesome weapon would operate in real-life.

Craft and his friends have a blast creating portals on flat surfaces and exploring the mind-bending physics that the gun offers. In fact, it's all fun and games until someone gets stuck in an infinite loop. The results are predictably hilarious and more than a little dangerous.

In what Craft describes as "the most challenging project he's ever undertaken," he used 3D tracking, seamless camera cuts and 3D camera projection to create the video. In the end, we're left with a tribute that perfectly shows what it would be like to really wield Aperture Laboratories' weapon. Who wants a turn next?
