Talk about being made for each other. Alan and Evelyn Sanchez went to high school together in the '80s and fell in love after they reconnected on Facebook and met up at a reunion in 2012.

And that's not even the amazing part of the story.

After dating for two months, the Fair Lawn, New Jersey couple married last December, but things turned sour for them after doctors said Alan had a rare liver condition and a transplant was necessary to keep him alive.

Alan was all set to go on a waiting list when he discovered his new bride was also an O-Positive blood type. Without hesitation, Evelyn will donate about two-thirds of her liver to him next month:

To come such a long way, to find him, I will not accept to lose him so quickly."

Alan faces a 50-50 chance of survival, but considering the long road he traveled to find his wife, don't bet against him.
