Popular subreddit Explain Like I'm Five finally has their own webseries. The subreddit describes itself as "An inclusive place to ask questions and get simple, layman-friendly answers, without fear of judgement." In the videos, the concepts are being explained to actual five-year-olds, and although it's not as informative as a typical ELI5 response, it is certainly more adorable.

For example, you don't get to hear a kindergartner try to say "übermensch" if you're just reading comments on Reddit. If you like this video, there are more you can watch, right here. If you just want things explained to you like you're five, here's the subreddit.
