Airlifting a Rhino

It may seem cruel and risky to the animal’s health, but this airlifting of some 19 black rhinos to a new habitat is actually our best chance at saving the critically-endangered species.

The World Wildlife Fund recently transported almost two dozen rhinos by helicopter from the Eastern Cape in South Africa to a new location 930 miles away, where they’ll live on land protected from poachers by guards.

Watch the amazing story below. You will believe a 1.5 ton rhino can fly.
