Jimmy Kimmel Gets Elderly Folks to Comment on Facebook Buying Instagram

As you’ve surely heard, Facebook bought the photo-sharing program Instagram for a cool billion dollars earlier this week. So far, reaction to the purchase has been “meh” at best, with most of the instant reactors on Twitter mocking the move.

Jimmy Kimmel also didn’t have a whole lot nice to say about the acquisition. “A billion dollars for making pictures look like crap,” he quipped. So is there anyone out there who is willing to praise the move? What about old people? Maybe their wisdom gives them a unique perspective on the deal.

Oh, well. It turns out that even though Instagram makes pictures look old-timey, old folks have never heard of it before and are in no position to comment on its worth.

But is there anything funnier than senior citizens being confused by technology? This video would suggest that there isn’t.
