Professional photographer Peter Hurley shared his simple technique in which he tells his clients to tilt their heads a little forward and down a bit so that the jawline it's accentuated. This basically minimizes any "double chin."

It's amazing how a simple repositioning can alter how you appear when looking straight at the camera. The difference makes the photograph look all the more professionally shot. That or it'll make you look better -- which all we want in our photographs anyway!
