We've all seen examples of dumb calls made to 911 before. But the age of handheld technology has now introduced a new form of abuse where 911 is used as iPhone support.

Michael Alan Skopec of Illinois called the emergency number on five different occasions to complain that his iPhone was on the fritz.

But instead of getting help with his smartphone, Skopec received a visit from the police and was arrested. According to officers on the scene, he appeared to be intoxicated. No kidding.

Listen to audio of the calls below.
