Drew Carey Breaks Down in Tears on ‘The Price Is Right’

The Showcase Showdown was definitely not the most dramatic part of one recent episode of ‘The Price Is Right.’

During a taping of the legendary game show, host Drew Carey became extremely emotional when saying goodbye to a staffer leaving the program who had helped him a ton during his tenure as host. So emotional, in fact, that Carey started bawling before the two men exchanged a hug in a rare departure from the usual fun on 'The Price Is Right.'

After the touching tribute, the contestants returned to spin the big wheel in order to advance to the Showcase Showdown. And then the poignant moment quickly turned ridiculous when the contestant spinning the wheel put so much oomph into it that she fell on the ground. And that's how real life works.
