David Attenborough Narrates Video of Turtle Making Love to a Shoe

David Attenborough Narrates Video of Turtle Having Sex With Shoe
BBC One

It’s official: with his distinctive voice, legendary British broadcaster and naturalist David Attenborough can lend a sense of grandeur to anything, even a viral video of a turtle trying to have sex with a shoe. (Yes, you read that right.)

During an appearance on ‘The Graham Norton Show,’ Attenborough narrates a video of a tortoise named Toby as it attempts to mount a gray Croc sandel. To his credit, Attenborough doesn’t even bat an eye as he provides a voice-over.

“And in a dance as old as time itself, it rears its head and emits the mighty mating call,” Attenborough intones, as the squeaking turtle tries to have its way with the shoe. Um, is anyone else suddenly feeling uncomfortable?

Still, this could be the start of an exciting trend. Would you like to see Attenborough narrate any other funny animal videos? Lazy polar bear or hugging cat, perhaps?
